Evaluation

  • Painless bleeding occurs during SROM
    • Fetal in origin (mother's life is not at risk)
    • May lead to fetal exsanguination

  • Hemorrhagic ovarian cyst
  • Fibroid degeneration or torsion
  • Ovarian torsion
  • Constipation
