Background
- Do NOT perform digital exam in patients who present with vaginal bleeding when >20 weeks pregnant
- Only 20% of miscarriages occur after the first trimester

- Placenta previa
- Vasa previa
- Uterine rupture
- Preterm labor
- Vaginal trauma
- Placenta accreta
