Evidence Based Questions (EBQ)

This section is set up to allow for evidence-based discussion of key (hopefully clinically relevant) topics, to allow for research-based discussions, while keeping the main note short and to the point to enable quick searching for treatment information.

We invite medical journal clubs to write short EBQ summaries of their findings on WikEM. This takes only a few additional minutes to your practice and allows the summary finding to be available to the larger EM community. Our hope is to engender discussion and evidence-based practice.

Structure

All EBQ notes need to have the prefex "EBQ:" before the note name. The topics should link to the main treatment note and vice versa. This allows for research based discussions at length in the EBQ section, while keeping the main treatment note short and to the point to enable quick searching of treatment information.
