Norman Regional Hospital System
Overview
Norman, Oklahoma is located in the heart of Oklahoma and is the third largest city in the state. It is the home to the University of Oklahoma and is known for its varied festivals. It is also 30 minutes away from Oklahoma City, which is the home of the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team and Bricktown which offers a variety of options for dining and various other activities. The program is currently AOA approved and is pre-accredited through ACGME.
Norman Regional Health System is a multi-campus system that serves healthcare needs throughout south central Oklahoma. Our two main Emergency Departments are located in Norman, Oklahoma. The Porter campus is a 400 bed hospital which offers a variety of services and takes care of a variety of ailments. Our HealthPlex campus is equipped to handle Cardiology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Pediatrics. We also operate a freestanding Emergency Department in Moore, Oklahoma.
In the average year, more than 100,000 patients receive treatment at one of our EDs.
