Harbor: Ortho Outpatient CT

• Outpatient Ortho Pre-Op CT’s (Oct 2025)
  • Confirm DHS Empaneled/Eligible
  • Order CT
    • Routine
    • Future within 1 day with 2-day grace period
    • Write “ED Ortho” in "RELEVANT HISTORY" field (*not comments -- this signals to schedulers to prioritize the scheduling)
  • The CT test is scheduled
    • Weekdays from 7a-3p, you should get a TEAMS message from the CT schedulers with the exact outpatient CT time and info on where the patient needs to go (rm 105)
    • Afterhours, the patient will get a call from the CT schedulers the next business day between 8-8:30am for urgent scheduling
  • Patient can be discharged
    • If the CT schedulers have questions about the order, they will call the Ortho resident on-call
