Background

  • Most common skin malignancy
  • Rarely a metastatic process

Risk Factors

  • UV radiation
  • Chronic arsenic exposure
  • Ionizing radiation
  • Immunosuppression

Clinical Features

  • Slow growing
  • Usually head and neck
  • Only where hair follicles exist
  • Pearly nodule with telangiectatic vessels, rolled border and central ulceration
