Background

  • Affects children <10yr
  • Arises from persistent embryonal renal cells *10-15% will have mets at presentatio (lungs)

Clinical Features

  • Abdominal swelling/mass
    • Avoid vigorous palpation to prevent capsular rupture
  • Patient often appears well
