Adverse Reactions

  • QT prolongation
  • Myocarditis
  • Agranulocytosis in 1%–2% of patients during initial treatment 3 months
    • Highest ~3 months into treatment and then decreases
  • Other potential side effects:
    • Dyslipidemia
    • Diabetes
    • Decreased seizure threshold
