Indications
- Need to anesthetize entire digit (finger or toe)
- Laceration repair
- Dislocation/fracture reduction
- Pain control for traumatic injury
Contraindications
- Overlying skin infection
- Distortion of landmarks

- Local anesthetic
- 27-30ga needle
- Syringe
- Iodine or chlorhexadine prep
