Background

  • Children <16yr

Clinical Presentation

  • High fever (at least 102.2) for minimum of 2wk
  • Faint erythematous macular coalescing rash
    • Trunk, palms, soles
  • Arthritis
    • Usually polyarticular
  • May also have hepatosplenomegaly, lymphadenopathy, pleuritis, pericardial effusion
