- Male sex
- Prematurity / Developmental delay

- Maternal exposure to smoking, alcohol, drugs of abuse

- Infants with rigor mortis, livedo reticulrais, pH <6, or reduced temperature in absence of environmental hypothermia should not be resuscitated
