Background
- Solitary fractures of the forearm are uncommon
- Fractures usually occur at two or more sites or also involve a ligamentous injury
Types

- Distal radius fractures
- Radius and ulna fracture (both-bone forearm fracture)

- Isolated ulna fracture (i.e. nightstick)
- Monteggia fracture-dislocation
