Background
- Primarily due to rapid deceleration
- Most occur within 2cm of carina
Clinical Features
- Dyspnea, hemoptysis, subcutaneous emphysema, sternal tenderness
- Pneumothorax, pneumomediastinum

- All lacerations of the bronchi involving more than 1/3 of the circumference need surg
