Background
- Seldom lasts beyond 3-4 months of age
- Diagnosis of exclusion

- >Crying for ≥3hr/day for ≥3 days/week per week over a 3-week period

- Sepsis
- Meningitis
- Intussusception
- GERD
- Milk protein intolerance
- Corneal Abrasion
- Hair tourniquets
- Incarcerated hernia
- Testicular Torsion
- Nonaccidental trauma
Treatment
- Changes in caretaking styles
- Increased soothing activities, feeding more frequently, use of pacifier
- Changes in environment
- Background music, car/stroller ride
- Changes in feeding for refractory cases
- Removal of cow's milk
