- Hyperventilation leading to:[1]
- respiratory alkalosis
- extremity/circumoral paresthesias
- carpopedal spasm
- May mimic heat cramps
Clinical Features
- No cramping in muscle compartments
- Differentiate from Heat Cramps based on little pain
