Diagnosis
1) Pulse Ox non-responsive to O2
2) Hepatomegaly
3) High pulse pressure (also sepsis)
4) Murmur
5) Blood pressure in 3 limbs
Treatment (by presentation)
1) Cyanosis (shunt)
-PGE1* (0.01mg/kg; may repeat at double dose x 3)
-pressors
2) Tet spells
-knee chest position
-O2
3) CHF
-diuretis, NTG, inotrops
4) Shock (resrictive lesion)
-Dobutamine
- PGE1 Side Effects
-Apnea (intubate)
-Hypotension
-Bradycardia
-Hyperexia
-Flushing
