Differential Diagnosis

Ring-Enhancing Lesion

Common Mnemonic: DR MAGIC

  • Demyelination
  • Radionecrosis/hematoma
  • Metastasis
  • Abscess (consider bacterial, fungal, parasitic)
  • Glioma (and other primary neoplasms such as lymphoma)
  • Infarction
  • Contusion
