- The quick Sequential (Sepsis Related) Organ Failure Assessment Score (qSOFA) is used at the bedside to help identify and risk stratify patients who are septic.[1]
- A score ≥2 indicates high risk of poor outcome and the need for further evaluation.

Quick Sequential (Sepsis Related) Organ Failure Assessment Score
- Respiratory rate of 22/min or greater (+1 Point)
- Altered mentation (+1 Point)
- Systolic blood pressure of 100 mm Hg or less (+1 Point)
