Background
The quick Sequential (Sepsis Related) Organ Failure Assessment Score (qSOFA) is used at the bedside to help identify patients who are septic. It is replacing the older SIRS criteria.[1]

- Respiratory rate of 22/min or greater (+1 Point)
- Altered mentation (+1 Point)
- Systolic blood pressure of 100 mm Hg or less (+1 Point)
