  • Wheezing in the child less than 2 years old is very commonly due to bronchiolitis, which is a self-limited viral illness.

Goals

  • Maintain oxygenation > 90%
  • Ensure hydration
  • Monitor for apnea and distress

Suction

  • Bulb suction assists with secretions
