- Wheezing in the child less than 2 years old is very commonly due to bronchiolitis, which is a self-limited viral illness.
Goals
- Maintain oxygenation > 90%
- Ensure hydration
- Monitor for apnea and distress
Suction
- Bulb suction assists with secretions
Nebulized Epinephrine
Contact OLMC for patients who are failing all prior treatment
