Background
- New phlebovirus discovered in NW Missouri 2012, cases also describe in Tennessee
- Transmitted by lone star tick
- 8 reported cases (as of 2014)
Clinical Features
- Similar to other tick-born illnesses: fatigue, fever, arthralgias and myalgias
- Diarrhea
- Leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, elevated transaminases
