- Factor Xa Inhibitors (e.g. rivaroxaban, apixaban, fondaparinux, edoxaban)
- Direct thrombin inhibitors (e.g. dabigatran, argatroban, bivalirudin)
- Illness induced
- Genetic
Evaluation
- PTT does not correct after mixing
Management
- Bleeding
- Give high dose Factor VII, prothrombin, or recombinant factor VIIa
