Background
- Hand-foot syndrome

- Painful, symmetrical swelling of hands or feet
- Mild erythema
- Low-grade fever

- Analgesia
- Hydroxyurea for recurrent episodes
Disposition
- Inpatient admission if pain is not adequately controlled
