Background
- Also known as "Swimmer's itch"
- Skin exposed to freshwater schistosomes or coastal water clam diggers itch
- Cercaria (non-human schistisomes)
- Not be confused with Seabather's eruption (caused by the larval stage of cnidarians (e.g., jellyfish))
