Adult Dosing

Postpartum hemorrhage

  • 250 mcg IM x1
    • May repeat q15-90min for refractory bleeding
    • Max 2mg total dose

Pregnancy Rating

  • Avoid use in 3rd trimester
  • Possible risk of embryo-fetal toxicity
