Background

  • Most common skin malignancy
  • Rarely a metastatic process
  • Risk factors include UV radiation, chronic arsenic exposure, ionizing radiation, immunosuppression

Clinical Features

  • Slow growing
  • Usually head and neck
  • Only where hair follicles exist
  • Pearly nodule with telangiectatic vessels, rolled border and central ulceration
