The Jacobi/Montefiore Emergency Medicine Residency program is a rigorous and dynamic four-year training program. The Jacobi Medical Center is a large, public hospital, adult and pediatric level 1 trauma, burn, hyperbaric, and snake bite center dedicated to providing exceptional care to its surrounding community. The Montefiore Medical Center sites, including the Moses Campus (extensive sub-specialty tertiary care, stroke, cardiac, transplant, and reimplantation center), Einstein Campus (community setting), and the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, are ranked among the top 10 busiest ERs in the nation and allow our residents to gain unparalleled training with high acuity patients. Additionally, our residents gain valuable experience with trauma, point-of-care ultrasound, research, EMS, medical simulation, and EBM.

Upon graduation, our residents are uniquely prepared to work adeptly in any clinical setting as they join, and take advantage of, the large and prestigious network of Jacobi / Montefiore alumni.
