History
The Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Emergency Medicine Residency Program is dedicated to providing the ideal environment for residents to become compassionate emergency medicine physicians who will confidently provide evidence based, cost effective care to every patient they treat.
Their PGY-1 to PGY-3 program has the residents rotating through Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center and a leader in the provision of Emergency Care to the residents of central New Jersey. RWJUH is the only academic medical center and provider of tertiary and quaternary healthcare services in central New Jersey. Immediately adjacent to RWJUH is the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital, providing state-of-the-art care to the pediatric patients of central New Jersey.
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital is located in central New Jersey which is a short drive or train ride from New York City and Philadelphia. Located in New Brunswick, New Jersey this area is ideal for entertaining friends or to raise a family as it offers an energetic and diverse academic, cultural, ethnic, entertainment and recreational lifestyle.
