Management
Reduction
- Digital nerve block
- Apply longitudinal traction/ hyperextension followed by dorsal pressure to phalanx base
- Irreducible cases due to entrapment of avulsion fx, profundus tendor or volar plate
Splinting
- Splint in slight flexion with dorsal splint x 3wk
