  • Certain clinics can be Direct_book_without_consultant_discussion
  • Speak to consultant
    • discuss need for follow up and agree on timeline
    • whether consultant will take responsibility to book or have ED clerk request appt
  • Write the following items in the follow up field for clerk to book:
  1. Name of approving doctor
  2. Time frame (I.e., 2 days, 1 week, etc.)
  3. Reason for urgent follow up
