• Dysfunction of activated neutrophils
• >50% associated with systemic disease:
  • IBD
  • Polyarthritis, sero-negative and -positive
  • Leukemia
  • Less commonly psoriatic arthritis, OA, RA, spondyloarthopathy, hepatitis, PBC, myelomas, SLE, Sjogren
