Diagnosis
- Diffuse tearing and increased intercanthal distance are suggestive
- Intranasal palpation w/ hemostat while palpating along bony rim for crepitus

Management
Prognosis
- Complications include:
- Lacrimal disruption
- Medial canthal ligament rupture
- Dural tears
- Intracranial injury seen in up to 70%
