Trigger finger

Background

  • Tenosynovitis of the flexor sheath of the finger as a result of repetitive use

Treatment

  1. Conservative therapy
    1. rest
    2. NSAIDs
    3. immobilization (buddy tape or finger splint)
  2. Refractory cases may require steroid injection or surgery
