Stable angina

Diagnosis

Angina is considered unstable with 1 or more:

  1. Occurs for 1st time
  2. Occurs at rest
  3. Accelerating frequency or severity

Classes (Canadian Cardiovascular Society Classification)

  1. Sx w/ prolonged exertion
  2. Sx walking >2 blocks
  3. Sx walking <2 blocks
  4. Sx with minimal activity or at rest
