  • From the Orders screen, type "SURG ICU Admit"


  • Commonly used subphases include:
    • ICU ventilator management subphase
    • ICU pain and sedation management subphase
    • ICU vasopressors subphase
      • Ensure that hold parameters are placed in the order comments section for all vasoactive meds
      • MAP or SBP goals should be specified for patients receiving vasopressors
