Indication
Indication = Cr > 1.1
Harbor Cut-off 1.5 for CT
PreTreatment
Most give mucomyst, although in the original study patients received mucomyst much before the CT
Mucomyst
Mucomyst 600mg PO
Bicarb Drip
- 3 amps NaBicarb in 1L of D5H2O
- Bolus 3mL/kg 1hr prior to IV contrast,
- then 1mL/kg/hr for 6hrs after
