TSICU Structure & Function
- The TSICU is a 14-bed closed unit located on the 3rd floor immediately adjacent to the 3W Step-down Unit and the 3W CTU media:TSICU layout.pdf
- Although the unit is closed, the TSICU faculty and staff work closely with consult services and surgical sub-specialists to provide coordinated, effective, and team-based care of the highest quality
- Any and all recommendations by non-trauma services are to be discussed and approved by the TSICU Attending
- Housestaff are expected to be familiar with the plan of care for all patients in the TSICU at all times
