	As one of the oldest emergency medicine programs ~~their is~~ a strong association with EMS and ~~ability to have~~ HEMS ~~involvement as well as an active ultrasound group~~. ~~Very affordable~~ cost of living and family friendly ~~atmosphere~~		The program at Geisinger Medical Center is one of the oldest emergency medicine programs in the country. The curriculum includes a strong association with EMS and residents fly with the HEMS program. The main training campus is located in a rural town making the cost of living very affordable and the area is family friendly.
